About

Stephanie Steedman

Formerly a States of Jersey Planner working in the Planning Department I have been providing planning and environmental services in Jersey since 2006. My focus is to provide impartial and independent advice to help clients navigate the planning process with the minimum amount of fuss and stress. I aim to maximise client’s chances of securing planning permission.

With my membership and experience as a Chartered Planner (MRTPI), and Practitioner Member of the institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (PIEMA) and also Masters in Urban Design I provide clients with a thorough and holistic understanding of the assessment requirements of the island’s land-use decision-making framework.

I have worked as an independent consultant for over 10 years and built up good working relationships with many of the stakeholders who influence the decision-making process. My independence means that I am not tied to any architect and can offer a truly independent assessment of any project.

I provide a bespoke service, tailored to client’s needs. I work collaboratively with clients and their agents, providing planning and environmental consultancy advice to suit client requirements.

Although my office is based in St Saviour, close to St Helier, I usually find that visiting clients either on site or at a location to suit them provides the best service.

KEPlanning is my business and I will lead your project personally from start to finish. You get the benefit of receiving my personal attention throughout. Because you deal with me directly and I am personally involved in steering your proposal throughout the process, this keeps me involved, available and responsible.
